Unified Solutions Names Greg Newkirk
Sales Representative for e-Insight ERP

January 8, 2003 - Unified Solutions, a developer of business management
software for the industrial fastener industry, has named Greg Newkirk
as an authorized sales representative for the e-Insight ERP product.
Greg will be based in Houston, Texas.
"Greg has many years of experience in the cold
headed fastener industry from the software and systems perspective.
He also knows how a manufacturing operation works. He will bring inside
knowledge of the fastener business, what their software needs are as
well as having skills in implementing financial systems" says Pete
Ashby, President of Unified Solutions. "Greg has used Oracle and
SQL Server so he understands how data is stored, and he has used reporting
tools such as Crystal Reports so he understands how data is used for
management decision making."
Greg also brings to the table good people
and communication skills. During his experiences with fastener companies,
he has worked with CEO's to Header men. The ability to communicate with
all levels of the workforce is critical in evaluating the requirements
that a company has for an ERP application, as well as in the setup and
training on the product.
About Greg Newkirk
Greg has worked in the fastener industry from the
software and systems side, using many well-known applications and tools
to do the job. Greg also has extensive understanding of networks, and
infrastructure requirements for the system to work properly.
One of Greg's biggest projects was the implementation
of BaaN IV. Greg played a key role in the implementation that produced
a working system in ten months time at four locations. From this experience
Greg has gained first hand knowledge of the do's and don'ts of implementing
an ERP system. "The most important thing I learned during the BaaN
implementation is to let the actual users have a say in what system
to buy" says Greg Newkirk.
